Join Performance Foodservice, a market leader in the food distribution industry, as a Warehouse Order Selector. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and timely selection and loading of food and food-related products for delivery to our esteemed customers ranging from local eateries to prominent national chains. Our diligent team works overnight shifts to manage inventory and prepare products for next-day delivery, maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Efficiently select customers’ orders using electronic pallet jacks and other warehouse managing equipment Safely build pallets, wrap them effectively, and stage them for loading Perform general housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned Regularly check equipment for maintenance needs and ensure a clean, safe work area Adhere strictly to internal safety policies and OSHA standards Communicate effectively with team members to enhance operational efficiency Ability to operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards Capable of heavy lifting and adapting to varying temperature zones within the warehouse Excellent organizational and time-management skills Detail-oriented with capabilities to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification in operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferable but not mandatory
