Job Description:
Dorsey is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property
Litigation Associate to join our Seattle, Minneapolis, or Denver
office. This attorney will join a team of dedicated associates and
partners in Dorsey's growing IP Litigation Practice Group. In this
role you will have the opportunity to work on complex patent,
trademark, and other IP litigation matters in federal courts around
the United States, handling the following types of tasks:
- legal research and analysis
- written discovery
- brief writing
- depositions
- trial preparation
The following qualifications are required:
- 2-4 years of IP litigation attorney experience
- A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- The ability to be admitted to the bar in the state of
residency
- Strong communication and writing skills
For Seattle applicants only, the salary range for this position is
$200,000 - 240,000. Pay is determined based on depth of experience
in the practice area. The individual hired for this position may
have the option of electing a lower billable-hours track with a
proportional reduction in salary. Associates are eligible to
participate in Dorsey's associate bonus program, subject to the
program's conditions and restrictions.
For Denver applicants only (as required by the Colorado Equal Pay
Act): The starting salary for associate positions in our Denver
office is $190,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors
including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice
area. Associates are eligible to participate in Dorsey's associate
bonus program, subject to the program's conditions and
restrictions.
