Job Description:
KEB America, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Configuration
Specialist to join our dynamic Engineering & Design team. This role
is crucial for maintaining the integrity of engineering data and
ensuring the streamlined operation of our automation solutions
within various industries. As a specialist, you will manage and
maintain engineering configuration databases, play a pivotal role
in project setups and documentation, and drive the standardization
of processes across multiple teams. This position is ideal for
someone passionate about combining their engineering expertise with
systematic configuration management to enhance our product
customization and delivery. Develop and maintain engineering
configuration management systems and documentation to ensure
accuracy and consistency across all project phases. Coordinate with
engineering teams to establish product configurations and manage
changes to ensure conformance with customer specifications and
industry standards. Facilitate and verify the configuration of
products for new and existing projects, collaborating closely with
design, production, and QA teams. Lead configuration audits to
ensure alignment with the predefined design and operational
requirements. Implement tools and practices to improve and
streamline configuration processes, reducing errors, and enhancing
efficiency. Advanced knowledge of configuration management
principles and practices. Proficiency in CAD software and
configuration management tools. Strong understanding of the
engineering design and development lifecycle. Excellent
organizational and project management skills. Ability to
collaborate effectively across diverse engineering disciplines.
Certified Configuration Manager (CCM) preferred. Any additional
certification in Project Management or Lean Six Sigma is
beneficial.
