Position type: Fulltime Contract
Duration: 1 year contract
Location: Minneapolis, MN
As a(n) -Systems Engineer -you will:

  • Number of Years' Experience Preferred: 5+ years
  • Requirements: Profound knowledge of system admin and engineering with a specialty in Workload Automation tools such as TWS, Control-M and Tidal; programming experience with PowerShell or Python; working knowledge of REST API; strong communication skills and be able to handle stressful situations
  • Tool: Tidal
  • Similar to and will accept expertise in TWS or Control M
  • Want someone who will also add thought leadership
  • Python
  • Shell scripting
  • Good comm skills to work with customers across tech teams to help manage internal changes
  • Workload Automation Tool for dev teams to schedule jobs to process data
  • Based in MSP on a hybrid schedule
  • On-call rotation: now have 5 people on roster, add one so every 5 weeks
  • Interview process: 2 rounds, initial assessment him and other leads, then online manager have second round, Teams interviews. -
  • Handle stress, example: person have customers, tight timeline, go live, doing testing, may face tech issues, then need to resolve, some times extra hours to complete to timeline
  • Internal customers: Leaders of app teams, tech leads, engineering, server Unix team, network team
  • Business driver for need - workload increase. Tidal Team growing, App Teams going to cloud, adding onshore and to India office Thank you!

    Pay Range*: $50- $65 -per hour
    *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
