About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support the Hardship Technology with the greater Home Lending and Servicing Technology organization. This individual contributor role is part of a system team supporting scrum teams to ensure environment stability and release quality for applications internally developed and 3rd party applications. As a member of this Hardship team there is a strong emphasis on automation and learning. In this role, you will:

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
• Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
• Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
• Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
• Assisting peers with adoption of DevOps concepts and practices
• Participate and execute within a Kanban framework
• Identify and implement automated solutions for manual processes
• Support CI/CD with release activities Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications:
    • Actively applies development skills to create automated solutions
    • Must understand and coordinate release and deployment patterns
    • Experience with Java, .NET, or similar languages
    • Experience with Urban Code Deploy, Jenkins, or other deploy pipeline solutions
    • Understanding of Git/GitHub or similar
    • Experience working in an agile team environment, with a strong understanding of Kanban Job Expectations:
      • Work in a complex technology environment driving towards cloud solutions
      • Mentor fellow team members in Agile, Kanban, and DevOps concepts/practices
      • Demonstrate and understanding of software development and release management
