Job Description:

Ziegler CAT Power Systems has a full-time opening for a Technology Sales Specialist. This position will sell next level connectivity technology that allows customers to remotely monitor and control their generators. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Educate customers on the features and benefits of connectivity, perform site visits to evaluate customer's generators and industrial engines and sell connectivity solutions that best fit their needs. Provide technical support for customers, field service technicians and sales staff. This position will report to the Product Support Sales Manager.Responsibilities:

• Become Ziegler's Power Systems subject matter expert in connectivity, telemetry and remote access of connected assets
• Review Caterpillar generated dashboards and follow up on connectivity leads to identify customers that are good candidates for connectivity solutions
• Schedule site visits in order to evaluate customer equipment and sell Caterpillar connectivity solutions
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to track customer activity. Including, phone calls, emails and in-person visits. Use CRM campaigns to record b won and lost sales
• Provide customer with unmatched support through the sales process and after the technology solution is installed. Post sale, train customer how to best utilize CAT RAM, or Remote Fleet Vison user interfaces (U/I)
• Coordinate and communicate with technical team to complete component support initiatives, identify warranty issues, facilitate product repairs and address other administrative tasks as required
• Educate customers both internal and external on the features and benefits of connectivity and remote monitoring
• Create PowerPoint presentations and marketing material to promote connectivity at customer
• Regularly attend and present at customer & industry events
• Provide unparalleled customer support and resolve issues in a timely mannerQualifications:
  • 4 year Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably technology related sales
  • Experience with hardware/software installations and creating custom flash drives
  • Good understanding of mechanical and electrical components
  • Exceptional communication skills - ability to effectively present technical information and train new users
  • Willing to cold call customers
  • Results-oriented and self-starter
  • Customer Focus, Achievement Orientation, Problem Solving, Organization and Teamwork
  • Clean driving recordTravel:
    • Up to 50%
