Description:Monroe Moxness Berg (MMB) is a Minneapolis area law

MMB is seeking an experienced employment attorney to join the
Litigation practice group. This is an excellent opportunity to
focus on business litigation with an emphasis on employment,
shareholder, and commercial disputes. Opportunities in this role
include: Advising and counseling on a variety of employment and
human resources related issues; Drafting a full range of
employment-related agreements, policies, and manuals; Conducting
audits and investigations; Conducting legal research and drafting
research memoranda; and, Opportunities for work on litigated
matters. The firm uses a team approach to projects, working in a
collegial environment to accomplish the client's goals. The firm is
dedicated to the professional growth of its attorneys, both in
legal skills and business development.
What We Need:
- 8-10+ years of employment litigation and/or counseling
experience in a law firm setting
- Ideal candidate will also have an existing book of
business
- Experience should include employment, shareholder, intellectual
property, franchise, fiduciary and other business disputes.
Experience with cases involving litigated allegations against
employees, officers, directors and shareholders of businesses.
Ability to advise clients on labor, employment and other internal
management issues.
- Self-starter with exceptional oral and written communication
skills to resolve disputes, clarify, or answer questions, providing
excellent interpersonal and client service skills
- Resourcefully moves projects forward and solves issues and
problems
- A commitment to a team-based approach to law practice
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- EntrepreneurialEducation and Experience:
- Juris doctor from an accredited law school required & excellent
academic credentials
- Active license to practice law and in good standing in
Minnesota
- Experience in other states, including Minnesota, a plus
- Additional consideration will be given for CPA, MBA, or similar
professional experience in addition to legal degreeCandidates
