Job Description Description: Small business (10-15 employees)
seeking a full-time team member to assist with HR and
office-related tasks. This role will involve HR generalist duties
combined with the processing and maintenance of client paperwork.
This position will be mostly remote, with the exception of
periodically meeting up with new team members to give them
equipment or attending monthly in-person staff meetings. Open to
discussing part-time hours. Applicants must reside in the greater
Minneapolis-St. Paul area. Duties/Responsibilities: Facilitate
hiring of new staff --- post positions, arrange interviews, check
references, and complete the hiring process Manage onboarding for
new staff --- send and process new hire paperwork, complete I-9
verification, facilitate training Monitor and verify timecards for
part-time staff Track staff mileage and manage reimbursement Manage
staff attendance, leaves of absence, and vacation requests Run
payroll Benefits administration --- medical insurance, 401k, etc---
Input client information into database, maintain organized client
records in database Other office and record-related tasks as
assigned Required Qualifications: A good candidate for this role is
inclusive, flexible, open-minded, and person-centered The ability
to focus on what our clients can do and shape experiences from that
standpoint, always keeping their strengths, interests, and personal
preferences in mind This role has a high degree of autonomy; it
requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a work
from home location where coworkers and supervisors are not on site
Reliable internet connection for frequent virtual meetings Time
management skills Prior experience in an HR role Bachelor---s
degree Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with people
with disabilities Knowledge of 245D licensure, Vocational
Rehabilitation Services, and/or disability waivers $42,000 starting
salary. Benefits include: 2 weeks of paid time off annually 6 weeks
parental leave with full pay (non-gendered policy, longer leave
increments with partial pay also available) Medical insurance
