Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides support to Director of Human Resources and acts as backup on all Human Resources related needs. Partners with Recruiting team for all new hire on-boarding, including WOTC process, background checks, and E-Verify. Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints. Conducts initial interviews and gathers information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns; informs Director of Human Resources when additional investigation is required. Guides employees, Supervisors and Management through investigative processes of employee relations and makes recommendations when necessary. Data entry into HRIS of all employee changes and updates Assists in developing and implementing human resources plans, policies, procedures, and goals. Recommends improvements as appropriate. Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Generates reports, reviews and uploads data feed for external agencies. Maintains, updates and ensures compliance with all assigned group employee files. Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans for assigned group. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skill Requirements (3) years of HR-related experience preferred Bachelor---s Degree preferred Bilingual English/Spanish required Competency to multitask, and meet assisted goals within set timeframe Creativity, driven, and a self-starter Talent to work efficiently with minimal supervision Developed professional level communication skills Progressive proficiency in MS Office Suite Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws Compensation Harvard is offering a competitive salary structure including benefit package with medical, dental, life, and long-term disability (LTD) insurance along with 401K Savings Plan.
