Job Description Job Description Position Description: Job Title: Bar Prep LeadLocation: NoMa HiFi Reports To: Bar Manager Compensation: $18 - $22/hour Position Summary The Bar Prep Person is responsible for preparing and batching cocktails and producing house-made ingredients that support our cocktail programs at multiple locations. This role is critical to maintaining consistency, efficiency, and quality behind the bars. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while following precise recipes and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Cocktail & Ingredient Production Prepare and batch cocktails according to established recipes and specifications Create house-made cocktail ingredients from scratch, including syrups, infusions, juices, and other prep components Follow all recipes accurately to ensure consistency, balance, and quality across the cocktail program Label, date, and properly store all batched cocktails and ingredients Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary prep workspace Multi-Location Coordination Organize and execute prep schedules to support multiple locations Coordinate and manage distribution of ingredients across stores Communicate proactively with bar managers regarding pars and prep needs Inventory & Ordering Support Monitor ingredient levels and maintain accurate prep pars Compile and submit ordering needs to management for placement Receive and check in vendor deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality Organize and maintain bar prep inventory in a clean and systematic manner Track product usage and communicate shortages or discrepancies Qualifications & Skills Prior experience working within a batched cocktail program required Bartending experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of cocktail components, ratios, and production techniques Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong organizational skills and comfort managing inventory systems Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time Disclaimer: Please note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and does not represent a comprehensive list of all responsibilities.
