Job DescriptionJoin our team as a Digital Media Assistant! In this critical role, you will support the growth of Sherman through innovative content creation, editing, and social media engagement through a variety of multimedia platforms including Corporate branding, residential housing, franchise hotels & retail business. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMulti-Media CommunicationsCreate content and execute social media campaignsDesign and send email blastsUpdate Internet Listings for multifamily propertiesGenerate reports for online advertising initiatives (does not include ILS)Manage online reputation by monitoring and responding to audience reviews and engagementsEvaluate and determine new ways to lead market in social conversationsEmpower site teams to contribute to their social media presenceDigital AssetsSupport with social media training and onboarding Monitor and update all digital assets (website, online listings, review sites and social media channels)Assist with monitoring and executing SEM/SEO strategyDemonstrate a strong understanding of the target audience and the voice of the brand while monitoring digital assets and creating content.Reporting and AnalyticsProvide regular performance reports and analyticsConduct and distribute weekly sales reports for competitorsDevelop content calendars that align with strategy and contribute towards established goals.Other Tasks as AssignedExperience and SkillsBachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field required.Strong work ethic and positive attitude.Ability to work independently; to prioritize and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, problem-solving and administrative skills.Willing to learn and be open to suggestions/ideas to improve productivity and efficiency.Committed to providing superior work product.Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills; Ability to communicate effectively with community tenants, vendors / external parties, and across corporate divisions.Ability to exercise judgment and suggest creative approaches to new issues.Possesses initiative and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.Is team-oriented and flexible in assuming new responsibilities as they arise.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates.Office hours may vary due to the specific needs of the portfolio.WORK ENVIRONMENTThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Exposed to ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment found in a typical office environment; quiet to moderate noise level.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
