Position Description The Physician Assistant - Urgent Care is a health care provider who is both academically and clinically qualified to perform diagnostic and therapeutic services under the supervision of a licensed Urgent Care physician. Job Qualifications: Education (Education qualifications must be from a school whose accreditation is recognized by Marshfield Clinic) Required Education: * Graduation from a nationally accredited Physician Assistant Program is required. Experience Preferred/Optional Experience: * Previous clinical experience in Family Practice and/or Urgent Care. Certifications/Licenses The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position, which must be maintained in good standing: Minimum Required: * Certification from the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants. * Must be eligible to obtain or already hold a current State of Wisconsin Physician Assistant licensure.
