Locums - Faribault/Owatonna, Minnesota, CRNA (Float Pool) Opening

Assignment Details
Start Date: August 10, 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 8- or 10-hour day shifts Monday - Thursday
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM standard schedule
Friday coverage limited to emergent cases only (primarily C-sections and occasional additional cases)
Weekend and PM call required and rotated among providers
Full-time availability strongly preferred
Will consider providers available for 2 weeks per month
Providers are required to float between Faribault and Owatonna facilities (approximately 20 minutes apart)

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia coverage for general surgery and OB cases
Work within both supervised and unsupervised anesthesia care models
Perform procedures including:

• Epidurals
• TAP blocks
• Spinal anesthesia
• Peripheral nerve blocks
• VBAC/TOLAC support
  Manage adult and pediatric patients
  ENT experience required
  Support emergent OB coverage including weekend call responsibilities
  Participate in infrequent cardioversions and TEE-related sedation coverage at Owatonna
  Document all care in EMR

Call Coverage
Overnight and weekend beeper call required
Weekend call schedule: Friday 7:00 AM - Sunday 7:00 AM
PM call schedule: 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Response time: 30 minutes
Sleep rooms available at both hospitals if onsite stay is needed to meet response requirements

Practice Setting
Float pool coverage between two facilities:

Owatonna Facility:

• Supervised anesthesia model
• 1 MD onsite (not on call)

Faribault Facility:

• Unsupervised anesthesia model
• Strong independent CRNA experience required
• MD support available as needed

No cardiac surgeries performed at either location
EMR: Epic

Requirements
NBCRNA - Required
Active Minnesota license - Required
Minimum 3 years CRNA experience - Required
Strong OB experience - Required
VBAC/TOLAC experience - Required
Proficiency in epidurals and TAP blocks - Required
Pediatric and ENT experience - Required
ACLS, BLS - Required
