Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Minneapolis, MN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,794 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 9 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 9 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:30 - 16:00) Experience: Minimum of 5 years required License: State license preferred; pending state license accepted Certifications: BLS and RDCS - Adults required. RDCS-Peds preferred. Must-Have: Inpatient and ER experience required. Description: Position is for an Echo Tech. Shift is from 7:30 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday. The department scans 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes per day. Years of experience required are a minimum of 5 years. First-timers are not accepted. Weekend requirements may depend on the schedule. Occasional on-call duty may be included. Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Floating to sister facilities is not required. Block schedule requests can be accommodated; options include Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday. Locals are accepted. RTO restrictions ideally should be no more than 5 days. Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned candidate without penalty. On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours. Special requirements include certifications/licenses: BLS and RDCS - Adults required; RDCS-Peds preferred. Work setting experience should include inpatient and ER. Outpatient, teaching hospital, PICU, neonate, and NICU experience is preferred. General skills should include proficiency with Portables and Syngo. IV starts, PACS, and biopsies are preferred skills. Echo procedure experience required includes 3D Echo, Bubble Study, Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharm Stress Echos, RIT/RVOT, TEE, and Treadmill Stress Echos. Equipment/scanner experience preferred is with Siemens and Philips. The facility type is short-term acute care. Total staffed beds amount to 672. Charting is done using Excellian/Epic. Department scans 75-100 inpatient and outpatient echoes daily. Preferred experience includes working with adolescents. Special procedures/unit details involve TTE, TEE, stress echos, strain, oncology, and research. Requirements Required for Onboarding BLS Skills Checklist Specialty Exam
