Registered Respiratory Therapist Location: Minneapolis, MN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,557 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: RRT - ECMO Specialist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:30 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years RRT and 1 year ECMO Specialist required. License: State License required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT required. Must-Have: Experience working with the ECMO machine. Description: Position requires RRT - ECMO Specialist. Shift is 3x12 nights with occasional rotations to day shift as needed. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in RRT and 1 year as an ECMO Specialist. First-timers accepted with a minimum of 1 year ECMO Specialist experience. Weekend work is required, with every other weekend scheduled. On-call duties are required as needed. Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be expected. Block schedule accommodation requests should be discussed with management. Local candidates are accepted, as are candidates with pending licenses, provided they are active by the start. Time off restrictions ideally limit RTO to no more than 5 days. Client may cancel up to 3 shifts without penalty. On-call hours do not count towards guaranteed minimum hours. Required work setting experience includes adult critical care. Care of patients with ARDS, aspiration, bronchoscopy, COVID, ECMO, fresh tracheostomy, and pneumonia is necessary. Must possess skills in medication administration for various respiratory considerations. Candidates should be experienced in ventilator management and oxygen therapy. Professional knowledge required includes ABG interpretation and chest physiotherapy. Experience with endotracheal tubes, tracheostomy care, and sputum specimen collection is essential. The facility is a short-term acute care setting. Detailed understanding of respiratory protocols is required. The position entails working with various life-saving respiratory equipment.
