Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Park Falls, WI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,488 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Park Falls, Wisconsin, 54552! Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Tele Stepdown Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Med Tele RN - Stepdown Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Med Tele Stepdown. Nurse-to-patient ratios depend on patient acuity, usually no more than 6:1. RNs are required to titrate drips. Common titratable and/or set rate drips include Diltiazem. There are no Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit. RNs are required to understand telemetry strips. The tele-monitor brand is GE, with remote monitoring available. Charge nurses do take assignments. Patient ratios with nursing aides vary from 1:1 to 2:1 based on patient numbers. In high acuity situations, additional staff may be called in. RT equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and vents; there are currently no RTs available. Shifts are flexible, with consideration for staff needs. Weekend requirements are every third weekend. Holiday requirements include every third holiday, with Christmas Eve in the rotation. There is a call requirement if census is low, and RNs may need to float to other departments as needed. Scrubs are not provided, and there is no specific dress code. Unit and department-specific orientation varies based on skills.
