This opportunity is ideal for experienced Surgical Technologists with a strong background in orthopedic surgery seeking a focused contract position in Eden Prairie, MN. The role provides a dynamic environment within an established hospital setting, working primarily in orthopedic trauma, total joint support, neuro, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular procedures. Responsibilities: Assist the surgical team during orthopedic and general surgeries, including both trauma and total joint cases. Prepare and maintain instruments and the operating room environment to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other team members to ensure seamless procedural flow. Utilize EPIC and DaVinci systems effectively in daily tasks. Float within the OR as necessary to support various surgical needs. Work varied 10-hour day/evening shifts with start times ranging from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Provide weekend and holiday coverage as required. Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in an orthopedic setting. Proven expertise in orthopedic trauma, total joint support, neuro, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular surgeries. Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification is required at time of application. Familiarity with EPIC and DaVinci systems. Ability to work flexible shifts with limited return-to-office days. Must not be a new graduate.
