Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 5x8hrs - Hours: 40 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 2, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Minnesota, requiring a MN RN license and at least one year of specialty experience. Details - Position is in the ICU and Special Care Unit, with floating to MedSurg as needed - Work may be scheduled on day, evening, or night shifts; all shifts are 8 hours - Every other weekend coverage is required - Schedules may vary based on department needs and shift openings - Travelers may float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby - Epic/Excellian EMR is used; experience may be required for some positions Requirements - Active MN RN license or proof of pending licensure at time of consideration - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Minimum one year of ICU or specialty experience required - PALS certification preferred - IV start skills preferred - At least one supervisor reference required for consideration - Epic/Excellian EMR experience required for some positions - Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility - Returning staff must have a 3-month gap from last perm shift Additional Information - Role includes care for both ICU and MedSurg patients depending on facility needs - Position accepts first-time travelers - Scrub or dress code requirements will be provided by the facility - Requested time off ideally should not exceed 5 days during assignment - Completion of pre-start modules is required prior to beginning the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-672520.
