collaboration. Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential
Functions) - Ensure high standards of customer service are applied
at all times - Transport clients to and from group and occasional
appointments - Be aware of and follow all safety practices/risk
assessments at all times - Attend any relevant team meetings and/or
training to support continued professional development - Effective
time management skills - Ability to be flexible and work as part of
a team - Understanding of working in a confidential manner -
Transport passengers in a safe and responsible manner - Ensure that
vehicles are cleaned on a regular basis (inside and out) - Inspect
the vehicle daily and report any defects or damage to supervisor;
as well as coordinate all maintenance of vehicles in a timely
manner - Open and effective communication with Lead Transportation
Specialist, Clinical staff and Nursing staff to coordinate
effective and efficient transportation for clients - Adherence to
Northstar Transportation Services policies and procedures - Strong
observational skills - pay attention to clients and have the
ability to take control of any situation - Ensure all passengers in
the vehicle are compliant, safe and nonvolatile - Remain
responsible for company gas cards and receipts - Ensure vehicles
have a minimum of a half a tank of gas by end of day - Maintain
proper boundaries with clients - Ensure first aid kit and emergency
kits are fully stocked - Perform secretarial duties in between
transports - Ensure site cleanliness - All other duties as assigned
by the Lead Transportation Specialist and/or Director of Outpatient
Requirements: - First Aid / CPR Certified or willing to become
certified within 30 days of hire - Must be 21 years or older - High
school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. - Must have a
driver's license - Acceptable driving record - Substance free for
at least 2 years Compensation details: 18-18 Hourly Wage
