Job Description Job Description Job Title: Surgical Technologist – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Location: Minneapolis, MN Profession Surgical Services Specialty CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) Job Summary The CVOR Surgical Technologist supports complex cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and assisting surgeons and the surgical team throughout procedures. This role requires experience in high-acuity cardiac and vascular cases and the ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, specialized surgical environment. Shift & Schedule 8-hour shifts Day and Mid shifts available Weekend and on-call coverage required as operationally needed Required Case ExperienceCardiac Surgery Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) – on-pump and off-pump Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR) Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement (MVR/MVRR) Tricuspid Valve Repair/Replacement (TVR/TVRR) Aortic aneurysm and dissection repair Total artificial heart and heart transplant Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) implantation Minimally invasive valve procedures Transcatheter mitral, aortic, and tricuspid valve replacement Vascular Surgery Endovascular and open vascular procedures Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repair Thoracic and thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair (including fenestrated grafts) Carotid endarterectomy Peripheral vascular bypass procedures Amputations related to vascular disease ECMO decannulation and repositioning Specific CVOR Case Experience Required Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair Atrial Septal Defect Repair Carotid Endarterectomy Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR) Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair (TEVAR) Femoral-Popliteal Bypass Graft Mitral Valve Replacement Pericardial Window Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) ECMO Operating Room Environment Dedicated CVOR suite Combination of standard operating rooms and hybrid OR capabilities Experience Requirements Minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience First-time travelers accepted Certifications & Licensure National certification required: NBSTSA (CST) or NCCT BLS certification required Active state license required (pending licenses not accepted) For more details reach at sthakur@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
