Responsibilities of the Nurse Manager Oversee daily nursing
operations, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care.
Provides direct patient care and administers medication as
required. Conduct audits and complete administrative tasks
including charting, assessments, and medical forms. Perform
admission and discharge assessment comprehensively. Recognize
procedural challenges and collaborate with the Director of Nursing
for resolution. Assess, prioritize, and fulfill resident care
requirements. Develop, implement, evaluate, monitor, audit and
adjust patient care plans. Ensure adherence to all relevant state
and federal regulations and standards regarding healthcare, patient
safety, and professional nursing practice. Collaborate with
Director of Nursing, Nurse Practitioners, and Physicians to
facilitate a holistic approach to patient care. Maintain effective
communication between nursing staff, patients, and their families
to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and care. Lead
initiatives focused on clinical excellence, patient safety, and
staff development. Utilize data and evidence-based research to
guide decisions and improve nursing practices and outcomes.
Qualifications We’re Looking for in a Nurse Manager Bachelor of
Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Current RN licensure. Minimum of
5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a
nursing leadership role. Demonstrated leadership, organizational,
and communication skills. Proven ability to mentor and motivate a
team towards achieving excellence in patient care. Strong
commitment to upholding the highest standards of nursing practice
