Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is
seeking a Radiologic Technologist (CT) with at least 1 year of CT
experience and ARRT certification for a travel assignment. /n /n
Responsibilities/n - Work in a CT Scanning department in an acute
care setting - Patient population includes those requiring
diagnostic and CT imaging - Shifts are primarily 8 hours with some
10 hour weekend shifts; start times vary from 6:30 AM to 12:30 PM
with end times between 3 PM and 9 PM - Weekend shifts are required
and specific details will be discussed during the interview -
Occasional overnight and evening shifts may be required as needed -
Use of Epic EMR system - Produce high quality images for physician
interpretation to meet departmental standards - Competency in
operating a variety of imaging equipment and technology is required
- Follow safety guidelines for self, support staff, and patients -
Maintain flexibility to work in various locations and shift lengths
within the department - Foster effective teamwork and provide
excellent service to patients - All travelers may only stay on
assignment up to one calendar year and must take a 30-60 day break
before returning - Scrub or dress code requirements will follow
departmental policy /n /n Requirements/n - Minimum of 1 year
experience as a Radiologic or CT Technologist in the specialty -
Graduate of an accredited radiography program - ARRT certification
in Radiography required - ARRT (CT) certification and BLS required
by start date - Appropriate state license required if applicable -
Ability to work independently and manage varied shift times and
lengths - Must respond to on-call pager, which may include days,
evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends - Excellent interpersonal
and communication skills - COVID vaccination and booster required
