Required Skills: MD or DO degree with valid medical license in Minnesota Proven experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine Strong proficiency in conducting outpatient interviews and physical assessments Ability to perform range of motion and muscle strength testing Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams Familiarity with VA procedures and veteran healthcare needs Experience in orthopedic assessments or related specialties Previous work in a government or military healthcare setting Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Active Minnesota medical license Minimum of two years clinical experience in general, family, or internal medicine Prior experience with veteran assessments is advantageous but not required Other Requirements: Provider must have their own office location within a 25-mile radius of assignments in Minnesota (Detroit Lakes, Bemidji, Rochester) Willingness to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments Ability to work on a PRN basis, including half-day (4-hour) or full-day (8-hour) shifts Must complete required training and exams, with a bonus incentive for early completion No reimbursed costs for certifications or portal training prior to start Travel and miscellaneous reimbursements included in rates where applicable Compensation: Half-day Rate: $800 (4 hours or less, includes exam, report submission, no overtime) Daily Rate: $1600 (5 hours, includes exam, report submission, no overtime) Bonus: One-time $650 for completing training and initial exams Hourly and overtime rates are not applicable Take the next step in your career by applying today and becoming an integral part of a dedicated team committed to serving those who have served us.
