Day.Aspirus Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff, WI is seeking a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - CLINIC to join our Tick Borne Illness Clinic team!The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) can provide basic nursing care to patients under the general supervision of a registered nurse, and delegated nursing and medical acts beyond basic nursing care under the direct supervision of the registered nurse.HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 Hours Biweekly, Day Only: 8-5Experience/QualificationsKnowledge of patient care standards normally acquired through graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program.Successful completion of an IV therapy and pharmacology course.Previous experience beneficial.Current Wisconsin LPN licensure, or application made and awaiting results.Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, online manikin and knowledge testing. An acceptable training program is the Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider course from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross Professional Rescuer Program with AED.
