facilitating messages between providers.Job SummaryThe Manager
Clinical Informatics drives the strategy and execution for Clinical
Informatics information sharing initiatives. This includes
evaluating data quality tools, defining best practices for clinical
content translation, and optimizing automated healthcare workflows.
The Manager Clinical Informatics acts as an evangelist and catalyst
for Clinical Informatics information sharing tools and workflow
best practices across various departments.Responsibilities
- Drive the strategy and execution for Clinical Informatics
information sharing initiatives including evaluating data quality
tools, defining best practices for clinical content translation for
automated healthcare workflow optimization.
- Manage partner relationships with 3rd party clinical content
and informatics vendors within Solution portfolio.
- Collaborate with Product Innovation during all phases of the
product lifecycle for clinical content & informatics initiatives.
- Ideate/Define:
- Identify opportunities to introduce new clinical informatics
value added services in collaboration with the Product Innovation
team.
- Help define requirements and leverage Clinical Informatics deep
understanding of healthcare data and workflows, considering factors
like data security, interoperability with other systems, and
user-friendliness for healthcare professionals.
- Buy/Build/Partner:
- Provide clinical guidance on buy, build, partner decisions for
clinical content and informatics solutions.
- Ensure successful development, testing and implementation of
healthcare information sharing solutions that incorporate clinical
informatics systems.
- Implement/Test/Iterate:
- Validate clinical data transformation, in alignment with
defined requirements and adheres to healthcare regulations.
- Engage with customer partners to optimize workflows.
- Scale/Support:
- Support testing, training and support during pilots
- Identify opportunities to scale clinical informatics
solutions
- Manage and develop team of clinical informatics professionals
responsible for building and maintaining clinical content,
designing, and support enabling technologies and 3rd party
tools.QualificationsBasic Requirements:
- Advanced Clinical Degree, such as MD, RN, PA, PharmD, or
RPh.
- 8+ years of experience in designing and supporting health
information technology solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in clinical informatics, including
understanding how to use terminologies such as LOINC, SNOMED,
ICD10, RxNorm, NDC, etc.
- 3+ years of experience leading and developing a team or
demonstrated experience showing progression in leadership.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA) related to
EHR usage.
- Knowledge of standards including
- NCPDP standards (NDC codes)
- FHIR API & HL7 CDA
- SNOMED, LOINC, RxNorm, ICD10
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and strategic thinking
skillsPreferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in a clinical setting
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical
terminology, and processes to tailor the data systems specifically
for use in a healthcare setting.
- Communication skills to work with or train staff members,
discuss the needs of medical professionals, and present ideas and
findings to upper management
- Analytical skills to solve data-related issues and come up with
solutions
- Innovation & Adaptability, willingness to explore new
technologies and adapt to changing healthcare

Surescripts, base pay is one part of our Total Rewards Package
(which may also include bonus, benefits etc.) and is determined
within a range. The base pay range for this position is $152,750 -
$186,650 per year. Your base pay may vary within or outside of this
range depending on a number of factors, including (but not limited
to) your qualifications, skills, experience, and location.Benefits
