Job Description:
$5,000 Sign On Bonus!!Purpose of JobThis position is responsible
for performing a variety of patient care related activities
including: assisting the providers. May also perform lab functions
as required.Job FunctionsWhen performing nursing support
functionsEscorts patients to examination room and obtains vitals
and documents in EMRAdministers prescribed medications and
treatments in accordance with clinic policies and scope of
certification/licensurePrepares equipment and assists providers
during examination, testing and treatment of patientsPerforms room
turn over in patient rooms between cases and at the end of
dayAssists in arranging referrals/prior authorizations as
necessaryAssists with patient educationPerforms other duties as
assignedMinimum Education/Work
Experience/License/CertificationsGraduation from Medical Assisting
program or School of Practical NursingGraduate of clinical
laboratory program and/or ability to display and complete job
competenciesCurrent LPN Licensure or Medical Assistant (CMA) or
Registered Assistant (RMA) (LPNs will have 1 year to become
certified in order to maintain employment)Current CPR
certificationKnowledge/Skills/ AbilitiesAbility to
multi-taskAbility to serve patients in a friendly and efficient
mannerKnowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office
applicationsAbility to work autonomously and as a teamCapable of
making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking
and problem solving skillsAbility to respond appropriately to
unpredictable situations and diverse patient populationsAbility to
communicate in the English language for effective written and
verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as
