About the Opportunity:--- Job Title: Medical Device Assembler
$19.43/ Hour--- Location: New Brighton, M N
--- Schedule: M, Tu, F, Sa ( Week 1) and Su, W, Th ( Week 2) -
Alternate every other week, 7am - 7pm, O/ T is optional when
Daily functions: Assembly lifesaving and life extending medical
Follow rigorous clean room practices for working inside certified
clean room assembly areas. Assemble finished medical devices and
medical device components per work instructions. Inspect and test
medical devices per documented visual inspection requirements and
inspection plans. Accurately fill out forms such as travelers and
component reconciliation forms Label products with medical device
labeling, install instructions for use, warranty cards, etc. into
device packaging. Operate automated medical adhesive dispensing
equipment and other various assembly equipment. Operate tray
sealing and pouch sealing equipment and inspect for packaging
integrity. Use microscope and/or vision system for complex
inspections per work instructions. Interpreting written
instructions Working with team members to assemble products.
Operating machinery to assemble products. Performing repetitive
tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
Desired qualifications: High school diploma or G E D preferred, not
1+ years of relevant experience assembling medical devices in a
clean room environment. High attention to detail Good dexterity and
ability to assemble components of varying sizes. Good comprehension
of written and verbal instruction and be able to articulate these
instructions to others when training. Work with minimal supervision
Understanding of c G M Ps and I S O standards, preferred or can
learn. Understanding of the importance of proper line clearance
Ability to use computer for entering inspection and test data.
Physical requirements: Lifting 25 pounds Standing while running
power equipment Manual dexterity including grasping and
pinching.20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses Finger cots
& Nitrile gloves may be required. What you might find meaningful
