This role is instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality in all our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction industry, specifically in quality control, and will have a deep understanding of federal government construction and healthcare construction. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience.Responsibilities:1. Develop, implement, and manage the company's quality control program.2. Inspect and supervise all construction projects to ensure they meet the required quality standards.3. Collaborate with project managers and other construction personnel to ensure all quality control procedures are effectively implemented.4. Prepare and present quality reports to upper management, identifying any areas of concern or areas for improvement.5. Conduct regular audits on materials, equipment, and the workmanship to ensure compliance with the project specifications.6. Ensure all projects are compliant with federal government construction and healthcare construction standards.7. Train and mentor staff on quality control measures and procedures.8. Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and develop corrective action plans.9. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to quality control.10. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations, including EM-385.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.2. CQMC Certification is mandatory.3. Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the construction industry.4. Proven experience in federal government construction and healthcare construction.5. In-depth knowledge of EM-385 and other safety regulations.6. Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.7. Excellent leadership and team management skills.8. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.10.
