Central Minnesota community seeks a Hospitalist for their growing program. Block Schedule, primarily day shift with 1:8 week rotation to night shift, seeing an average of 13 patients per day. Hospitalist runs codes and procedures are not required. Open to Family and Internal Medicine trained physicians. Day $1726.20/12 hour shift, Nights are $2,237.40/12 hour shift. 1.0FTE = 168 shifts per year. 8:00a.m. - 8:00p.m. Coverage is mainly days.. Hospitalists will cover Med/Surg & ICU to include ventilator management. Schedule: 7 on 7 off. Total number of physicians in specialty currently in department at practice site: 7 . Fully staffed with 9 hospitalists. Average inpatient practice volume per day: 12-13 encounters per hospitalist. Average daily census on unit: 50-60 . Hospitalist runs codes. No procedures required (general surgery performs central lines). $50,000 starting bonus. $10,000 relocation assistance. Earnings well in excess of $300,000.
