a mission to advance medicine.The Division of Transplantation in
the Department of Surgery at the University of Minnesota is
actively is seeking a qualified individual to fill a full-time
faculty member position. Rank and Track will be determined
according to the qualifications and interest of the
candidate.Candidates will be expected to participate in the
clinical practice, research, and teaching programs at the
University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Medical Center.
Proclivity for academic medicine and scholarly work is preferred.
Educational responsibilities include the clinical training of
transplant fellows and general surgery
residents.Qualifications:Qualified candidates must have an M.D.
degree, be Board Certified in General Surgery, completed a
transplant surgery fellowship at an ASTS approved program
(experience in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation), and be
eligible for a Minnesota medical license. Greater than one year of
post-fellowship experience and expertise in total
pancreatectomy/auto islet transplantation is preferred.Additional
