This position is responsible for managing the agricultural
equipment market for all of Ryerson. The primary function of this
role is to profitably grow sales in this industry. The agricultural
equipment market manager will utilize industry expertise to develop
strategic plans, develop tools and marketing information for the
sales team, create supply chains to support the needs of the
market, forge relationships with key players within the industry
and promote Ryerson s strategic objectives with both internal and
Increase revenue and profit in the agricultural equipment
Identify, research, and evaluate strategic opportunities in the
agricultural equipment market for Ryerson.
Coordinate the sales approach with local sales management and
Keep current on product information, industry changes, and other

Develop supply chains to support growth within the agricultural
Manage key customer relationships and interact with the highest
level decision makers in those companies.
Create and promote sales tools and marketing collateral for use
within the industry.
Tracking and periodic reporting of sales results and customer
deliverables both internally and externally.
Prudent and effective use of company resources such as company
automobile, travel and entertainment dollars.
Develop pricing parameters for products sold into the agricultural

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
High School Diploma/GED required
Aggressive, competitive, self-motivated with a Say Yes attitude
Proficient with MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong math aptitude
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Problem solving/conflict resolution and negotiating skills
