Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk. The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Conduct Management is the companys front line ethics and allegation management function, responsible for team member experience, end-to-end investigations, and enterprise platform management and reporting. We focus on team member feedback to drive operational excellence in our companys ethics program to ensure that team members are protected and feel comfortable raising concerns.

The Administration Planning and Logistics Team is responsible for establishing and maintaining the governance and operational infrastructure for Conduct Management and providing centralized support and services across the Conduct Management organization to meet our strategic priorities. Our Chief Administration Office function within Administration Planning and Logistics is seeking a leader for our Workforce Optimization function.

This leader will work closely with partners across Human Resources to design, implement and drive the business processes for talent management, organizational planning, compensation and performance management, recruiting, and onboarding. This leader will establish and drive ongoing routines and provide reporting and insights to senior leadership regarding staffing, our recruiting pipeline, and the progress we are making to meet our hiring goals.

Specific responsibilities include:


  • Build out the and core business processes to drive workforce planning, recruiting and administration for Conduct Management, including ongoing routines and reporting
  • Build out the Workforce Optimization team
  • Act as primary liaison with partners in Human Resources to support planning and approvals for staffing, resources, training, and onboarding
  • Design and implement talent management processes, including talent reviews
  • Lead staffing assessments, skills assessments, and partner with Human Resources on level and compensation reviews, as appropriate
  • Establish ongoing routines with senior leadership to manage staffing forecasts and planning
  • Establish performance management structure and routines for Conduct Management
  • Partner with the Head of Expense Management and Head of Planning and Administration to ensure that staffing and capacity forecasts are aligned with space management forecasts
  • Design and implement onboarding processes to provide our new hires with the tools and resources they need to be successful in their new roles

    As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:

    • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them
    • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks

      The preferred location for this role is: Charlotte, NC; Phoenix, AZ; Minneapolis, MN; Portland, OR; Denver, CO; Salt Lake City, UT; Des Moines, IA

      • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support management, project management, business operations or strategic planning in financial services
      • 3+ years of management experience

        • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
        • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
        • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
        • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
        • Knowledge and understanding of Human Resources policies/processes
        • Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
        • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team with senior leadership and partners in Human Resources
        • Demonstrated track record of successful partnership and collaboration with a broad group of stakeholders, including senior managers from disparate groups and lines of defense
        • Ethical integrity and demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and apply prudent risk mitigation principles
        • Background or experience with Human Resources, training, or recruiting
        • Demonstrated leadership ability that embodies the Wells Fargo Vision and Values and leadership competencies
        • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
        • Experience providing reporting and updates to senior-level management
        • Experience in multiple HR disciplines to include: talent development, talent management, compensation, recognition, performance management, diversity, employee relations, team member engagement and retention, executive coaching, and staffing and recruiting


          Job Expectations

          • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
