you.What do we need:The Compliance Manager supports all People
Serving People locations and is essential to helping us achieve our
vision that every family has what they need. The primary function
of this position is the operation, management and continuous
improvement of People Serving People's compliance-related systems
and practices. This role helps us fulfill a wide range of
compliance functions to ensure we achieve our mission of supporting
families who are experiencing housing instability by providing
shelter, early childhood education, housing stabilization, and
systems change. This position is a good fit for self-starting
compliance professionals eager for a diverse and varied scope of
work and capable of balancing attention to detail and
accountability with exceptional customer service and a strong
collaborative mindset. This is a new role, offering an opportunity
to collaboratively create a compliance framework that will help us
accomplish our mission. Responsibilities:Leads People Serving
People's participation in and compliance with the Child and Adult
Care Food Program (CACFP). Serves as sponsor principal, partners
with sponsor and site staff to comply fully with program
requirements and administers all site renewals and additions.
Ensures compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration
(OSHA) guidelines and requirements. Partners with departments to
identify areas for continuous improvement and supports departments
in fulfilling their compliance obligations.Partners with the People
& Culture department and peers to lead and support compliance
training and record keeping, including adult and pediatric
CPR/AED/First Aid, Naloxone, and Right to Know.Cultivates and uses
knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
to support license-holding departments with meeting their license
compliance obligations as needed.Partners with the Chief Operating
Officer to discern and implement process improvements related to
People Serving People's commercial lines of insurance.Partners with
the Chief Operating Officer, Advancement, Finance, Program
Directors, and departments to track and fulfill compliance
obligations emanating from government grants and funding sources
with complex requirements. Develops, implements shares, and
continuously improves a system for tracking compliance obligations
and ensuring those compliance obligations are met.Develops and
maintains a repository for People Serving People policies and
procedures and partners with policy/procedure owners to ensure they
are updated as scheduled. Develops and updates policies and
procedures when necessary and appropriate.Partners with all People
Serving People sites to support and perform routine emergency
preparedness drills and records drill completion for
verification.Chairs People Serving People's Safety
Committee.Supervises People Serving People's inventory of Automatic
External Defibrillators (AEDs) and Naloxone at all sites, manages
those inventories to prevent downtime or unavailability, and
partners with key staff to ensure emerging life safety priorities
are identified and addressed.Partners proactively with Departments
and families to discern and understand compliance needs, centering
those needs in planning for continuous improvement of People
Serving People's compliance operations, and partners with the Chief
Operating Officer to budget for these improvements.Performs
continuous improvement activities to ensure People Serving People's
compliance solutions are constantly evolving and improving to meet
the organization's needs.Provides project management support to
departments where necessary and appropriate to accomplish complex
compliance tasks including but not limited to site visits, audits,
applications and renewals. Performs other duties as assigned by the
Chief Operating Officer.Pay and Benefits:$73,000 - $83,000
annuallyFull-Time, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00

real difference in the community.Computer Skills: Advanced
experience using Microsoft software including Outlook, Word, Excel,
and the Microsoft365 suite of applications including Microsoft
Teams and SharePoint.Experience implementing and administering
Compliance Management Systems is highly desired.Other
Qualifications: Strong relationship-building and interpersonal
communication (written and verbal) skills. Approachable and
comfortable with staff with varying levels of comfort and ability
with subject matter, and able to communicate complex information in
plain language.Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving
skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.Experience
providing training (deskside and group) and developing training
materials.Experience working in culturally diverse settings and
high capacity for cultural humility.Experience developing and
executing multi-year compliance plans or desire to do so.Project
management experience. PMP, CAPM, or CPPM certification is highly
desired but not essential.Able to complete Adult & Pediatric First
Aid/CPR/AED train-the-trainer training within three months and
maintain it thereafter. Able to complete overdose response
train-the-trainer training within three months. Experience
overseeing facility safety is highly desired, including the
identification and elimination of physical hazards associated with
but not limited to tripping, falling and electrocution.Must be able
to work after normal scheduled hours when required, including
nights and weekends.Willing to center client needs when making
operational decisions.Knowledgeable of the impact of trauma and
willing to center trauma-responsive principles in
decision-making.Familiar with the historical and present-day
consequences of systemic racism and willing to apply a racial
equity lens in planning and decision-making.Enthusiasm for systems
change as well as justice, equity, diversity, inclusion,
accessibility, and belonging, and desire to center these goals in
work.Must be able to satisfactorily pass annual motor vehicle
records checks and maintain an active driver's license to permit
transportation between People Serving People's multiple service
