• Salary is $80,000 - $100,000/year - Credit for experience will be given. How you will make an impact: Vista Prairie Communities is seeking a Disbursements Manager to use your skills and play a crucial role in the well-being of our residents. Working within the framework of Vista Prairie Communities' values of Caring, Respect, Collaboration, Innovation and Stewardship, the Disbursements Manager is a strategic member of the Finance team that will be responsible for both management and hands-on processing to provide timely and accurate information. Some of your key accountabilities will include: supervises and contributes to the complete processing of weekly accounts payable for multiple properties, completes credit card processing and looks for ways to leverage it to create efficiencies, manages weekly accounts payable process and provides training to business office managers for success, manages the organization's payroll and benefit reporting, and partners with business office managers to ensure timely payments to vendors. Together we can make a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents.Schedule: This is a Full-time Salaried position, M-F business hours. What you will need:
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business required. Bachelor's preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of hands-on accounts payable experience.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of accounts payable best practices
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, problem management and conceptual skills, including the ability to make valid conclusions for assessing data.
  • Ability to successfully leverage desktop technology (e.g. Microsoft Office 365, Outlook, etc.) and vendor proprietary systems (e.g. automated AP) in the performance of job responsibilities
