JOB DESCRIPTIONHutchinson Health is seeking a dynamic nurse manager for our 12 bed Inpatient Mental Health Unit. Grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) this department serves adolescents and adults in partnership with nursing, psychiatry, and social services. The nurse manager is key to the success and direction of the team and demonstrations passion and advocacy for mental health and wellbeing.The position is responsible for clinical management, supervision of patient care, and administrative duties in Inpatient Mental Health Services. This position works in collaboration with the VP of Patient Care Svcs./CNO and Mental Health Medical Director, using clinical judgment and decision-making abilities. They will have specific responsibilities for the Inpatient Mental Health service area but will work collaboratively with the other Nurse Managers in the facility providing support to service areas and collaborating on specific initiatives across service areas.The Nurse Manager will have clinical experience in Mental Health and proven leadership skills. Candidates must also have excellent communication, interpersonal and decision-making skills along with sound clinical judgment. A current MN RN license is required. A Bachelor of Science is preferred with 3-7 years of clinical experience and previous leadership experience is preferred.A part of the HealthPartners system, Hutchinson Health is a patient-centered and progressive health care center with 4 Clinics, a 66-bed Joint Commission-accredited hospital located in a beautiful Crow River community of 14,000 approximately 60 miles west of Minneapolis/St. Paul.
