Job Description:

The Industrial Ventilation Division Manager is responsible for optimizing the success of the team by actively engaging in how work is sold, run, forecasted, and finished. The duties include driving new engagement progress, creating and maintaining customer relationships, overseeing project design and management as well as assuming responsibility for the financial performance of the division. This person must possess an advanced understanding or willingness to master NFPA standards as well as other applicable considerations for material explosion ratings and regulatory principles presiding over sensitive and even dangerous environments. Preference will be directed to industrial or mechanical engineering formal education or extensive experience with systems supporting manufacturing that require critical safeguards and/or enhanced air filtering and movement scenarios.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing sales strategies and solid customer engagement processes for team member success.
  
• Researching and analyzing data to create sales forecasts and industry overviews.
  
• Collaborating with other departments and upper management to identify business goals.
  
• Recruiting, hiring, and training project managers and sales specialists.
  
• Evaluate and recommend improvement measures to elevate the Company's HVAC market share.
  
• Developing and maintaining supplier relationships and strategic equipment line redundancy.
  
• Implementing and manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to maximize opportunities and customer relationships.
  
• Maintain favorable standing with Unions and other business partners.
  
• Strong "say to do" ratio.

  Required Skills & Experience:
  
  
• BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
  
• Minimum seven (7) years of directly related experience in the Specialty Construction/HVAC industry.
  
• Strong leadership skills to evaluate and impact project management and sales performance while providing training and coaching, when necessary.
  
• Communication in verbal and written forms need to be well above average and confidence in one's ability to build trust with division members, operations, collaborating departments and upper management is also of the utmost importance.
  
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop/implement new strategies for improvement.
  
• Financial skills and business acumen to manage a full P&L and understand sales profitability and opportunity risk are essential.
  
• Technology skills to utilize our CRM and ERP to maintain relationships and accurate project KPIs for the entire division.
  
• Research and reporting skills to analyze sales data, industry trends and generate accurate project/rollup forecasts.
