town, Hager City is one of our two factories in Wisconsin. Hager
City is an hour east of Minneapolis and about 250 miles from our
location in Jefferson, WI. Here, more than 50 employees support the
production of wet and dry coatings for any one of our pet food
brands.Quality and safety are the promises we make on every bag,
container, tub, and can and we continue to deliver on that promise.
As the Safety Manager, you will work with the Management team to
establish the Plant s Safety Performance goals. You will provide
all associates with the training, resources and support needed to
work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures. You will
champion all safety policies and procedures and lead plant-wide
safety meetings, teams and functional training.PRIMARY
RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop safety and health programs, systems and
processes, including training and coaching to establish clear
expectations and procedures.Effectively drive sustainable
implementation of corporate, division and local initiatives via
hands-on leadership, coaching and teamwork.Drive compliance with
local, state and federal safety requirements. Maintain OSHA 300 Log
and internal reporting as required.Develop, implement and manage
Hager City OHSAS45001process involving managers, Team Leaders and
the Safety Committee.Study data and trends to implement safety
campaigns. Organize, coordinate and conduct training for Safety
Committee on safety topics and current safety programs in the
plant.Utilize Nestl Continuous Excellence (NCE) principles, tools,
systems and processes to enhance performance. Develop and lead the
safety systems for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).Ensure
effective injury case management process is fully implemented, well
understood and functioning optimally. Provide customer service for
all employees with inquiries in the areas of safety to include, but
not limited to workers compensation, personal protective equipment,
etc.REQUIREMENTSBachelor s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene,
Occupational Health or related field3+ years of leadership
experience3+ years experience in a safety or compliance role within
a manufacturing, industrial, military or related
