This role is responsible for defining and implementing growth sales mission, vision and strategy for the Network Control business with special focus on growing and developing the white spots (Markets/Customers/Segments) in line with Hub Business Line (HBL) and Global Product Group (GPG) strategy. Ensure that the Network Control (NC) substantially increases sales, profitability, hit rate, and market share and customer satisfaction. Defining and continuously maintaining paramount market intelligence from a market, customer and competitor view for all markets within North America. Pro-actively lead, directly and indirectly, the sales teams focused on developing the markets and customers and achieving results. (All in line with the BL/Power Grid (PG) Sales & Marketing strategy and in cooperation with our World Class Front End (WCFE) sales.)Your responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying, assessing and creating market and growth plans for NC and particular for the growth areas/white spots
  • Set up, drive and develop an optimized NC sales organization structure.
  • Responsible for achieving assigned demand and supply order targets for NC
  • Establishes sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed
  • Proactively anticipate results and identifies gaps in order to take early remedial action and ensure the target achievement
  • Identify and develop opportunities at existing and potential new customers
  • Develop and implement a general account plan for NC as well as develop specific account management plans for selected accounts in coordination with the WCFE
  • Build and develop strong relationships with customers
  • Responsible for follow up, analyzing and acting on the results of customer satisfaction in order to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Secures coordination of NC sales activities
  • Work in close cooperation and full coordination with the PG Marketing and Sales Managers
  • Work with and assure coordination with other HBL Sales Managers, World Class Front End (WCFE) and other BL's/divisions as applicable.
  • Coordinates the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, billings, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluates data to ensure area goal achievement
  • Lead and develop the NC sales team and target and follow up for individual team members in line with HBL/ GPG strategy.
  • Drive efficiency for NC sales team and secure productivity YoYYour background
    • Bachelor Degree and a minimum of 15 years of sales and marketing experience in Power and/or T&D industry. OR
    • Master Degree and a minimum of 12 years of sales and marketing experience in Power and/or T&D industry
    • Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi ABB Power Grids in the United States.
    • Managing virtual teams, North American customer experience is necessary.
    • Strong network of customers within utility segment.
    • Software selling and Spanish language skills a plus
