The Business Development Manager prospects for and acquires new clients from various inbound and outbound lead sources while leading and coaching others. They take ownership of lead generation systems and actively systematize the conversion process through relationship building for maximum effectiveness.--They set appointments with qualified leads for the outside field agents and manage all leads in our contact management database system.

Our future partner must have the drive and tenacity to achieve productivity targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries with personalized follow up. This individual must be highly trustworthy-in addition to being the first point of contact for the team, they will also have access to sensitive client information and coach others on the team to hit their personal goals.

Activities of the Business Development Manager directly affect the bottom line and as such, they are deeply committed to the team achieving greater levels of success, growing their own skills and developing others.

Responsibilities:
--- Rigorously prospect for new business and follow up with sales leads in your pipeline
--- Achieve productivity, appointment setting and revenue targets while responding efficiently to customer inquiries
--- Primary duties include outbound calling, inbound lead response, e-mail communication, coordination and scheduling of real estate buying and selling opportunities
--- Accurately qualify potential customers for appointments with Outside field agents
--- Accurately track and report productivity and sales metrics
--- Participate in regular training for ongoing skill-building
--- Train, lead and mentor other New Business Development Representatives

Qualifications:
--- Passionate about influencing others, building relationships, team goals and culture
--- Exceptional telephone skills-ability to set and close appointments over the phone
--- Enthusiastic, self-motivator with excellent people skills
--- Excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills
--- Practice, memorize and internalize scripts for maximum effectiveness
--- Wants more for themselves than just a weekly salary
--- Ability to use or quickly learn real estate specific CRM
--- Be a team player who thrives working within a tight-knit culture
--- Positive, motivated and solution-oriented
