  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Establish annual sales and profit forecasts in accordance with the growth plan for the area and consistent with corporate objectives.
  • Establish operating budgets for the factory district sales and service operations.
  • Work with manufacturing representatives (reps) to ensure sales objectives are communicated and achieved.
  • Evaluate performance of reps including monitoring performance results, maintaining product line sales balance and market share growth.
  • Develop and lead the ongoing strategy for operational excellence and growth in the factory sales, service and parts areas.
  • Provide sales management leadership and guidance at the regional level.
  • Evaluate the performance of direct reports and provide coaching as necessary.
  • Assist in recruiting activities. QUALIFICATIONS
    • The Regional General Manager will be a consummate professional and proven leader having a deep understanding of service and sales in the HVAC industry.
    • He or she will display interpersonal and communication skills indicative of the ability to influence people and articulate ideas.
    • The ability to quantify results, lead change, and interface with all levels of management is required. A results-orientation plus the ability to think strategically is necessary.
    • He or she will have the educational and professional background to assume additional responsibility in the future.
    • The individual will have personal qualities of honesty and integrity, and an interest in people development.
    • The fully qualified candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in increasingly higher responsibilities in difficult situations.
    • The fully qualified candidate also will have a superior track record of measurable accomplishments in a comparably-sized organization.
    • An MBA is preferred. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience, with prior supervisory experience. Education:
      University - Bachelor`s Degree/3-4 Year Degree
