Job Description:

Cargill is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Reliability Technician to join our Engineering & Maintenance department. This role is crucial in ensuring the operational efficiency and effectiveness of our food processing equipment and systems. As a Reliability Technician, you will be responsible for performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance. This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute directly to the sustenance and growth of the global community by supporting the backbone of Cargill’s operations. Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of production equipment to ensure efficient operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to minimize downtime. Implement reliability best practices and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance equipment lifespan and performance. Document maintenance activities and generate reports on equipment status and reliability metrics. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules and minimize operational disruptions. Participate in training sessions to stay current with industry trends and technological advancements. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Proficiency in using maintenance management systems Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints Solid understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance techniques Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) is preferred Relevant safety training and certifications
