Honeywell is hiring a Lead Engineering Associate II that will report to the MEMS Sensors and IMU Senior Engineering Manager within Sensing, Guidance, and Navigation.-- You will be part of a team that design and develop test procedures and standards for highly complex products. You will participate in the development and certification of environment test functionality across multiple products and applications.-- You will support new products, processes, standards or operational plans within the organization's business strategies, with a direct impact on business results.-- You will use your strategic thinking and technical knowledge to lead laboratory improvement and engineering test and evaluation initiatives.-- You will grow and develop your technical knowledge in a team-based culture focused on innovation and customer satisfaction.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
Key Responsibilities

  • Follow established test procedures
  • Work with engineers to resolve any procedure or process issues
  • Work with engineers to identify opportunities for product or process improvements
  • Provide systems support and testing through product testing and evaluation, including integration, evaluation and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Provide feedback and test results to Engineers and project leaders
  • Manage equipment utilization, working with engineers and project leads to set priority and schedule testing accordingly
  • Experience with electro-mechanical testing
  • Failure mode analysis
  • Understanding of electrical components, debugging and analysis


    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Minimum 5 - 10 years of experience in mechanical testing or engineering test labs

      • Associates Degree in a technical discipline such as electronics, electro-mechanical or related area preferred.

      • Able to convey technical ideas and concepts through team discussions, presentations and in writing.
      • Ability to create action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively.
      • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet expectations of internal and external customers.
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
