Responsibilities
Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized, award-winning professional services consulting firm, is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we have an exciting opportunity for a full-time mechanical project engineer. Responsibilities include providing technical expertise, oversight, and leadership to the mechanical project team; attending client meetings; performing construction phase services; mentoring less experienced staff; and assisting with business development. Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have all of the following:

• 
  
• A bachelor's degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering
  
• At least eight years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
  
• A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states
  
  The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Designing hot water, chilled water and condenser water systems
    
  • Designing VAV, Geothermal and/or VRF systems
    
  • Designing and specifying of DDC control systems
    
  • Designing mechanical systems for Federal Government projects
    
  • Sustainable design
    
  • Designing steam systems
    
  • Providing commissioning services
    
  • Designing plumbing systems

    Salary Range: starts at $113,000 and up - Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
