Cernohous Chevrolet is looking for a mid-level auto technician to join our service department team. Our technicians focus on GM vehicle repairs and maintenance. Cernohous Chevrolet has been in the auto business for over 80 years and has a loyal customer base and great work environment. We pride ourselves on great customer service that is fair and honest. - - - - Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Use factory specifications as the standard in all repairs and service work.
• Inspect vehicle engine, mechanical, and electrical components to diagnose issues.
• Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools.
• Be able to communicate repairs needed and completed.
• Document and detail repairs on job cards. Complete all relevant inspections and reports.
• Basic computer and internet skills. Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • ASE certification or OEM training.
  • Open to 2-way communication with service team and customers.
  • Always willing to learn and improve. Hours and Compensation
    • Monday-Friday 8 am- 5 pm.
    • Compensation negotiable based on experience.
    • $1500 Sign on Bonus
    • Paid on site and hands on training.
