M Health Fairview is seeking a Unified Communication Engineer to
join our team! The Unified Communication Engineer provides
technical support and assistance with the installation, maintenance
and configuration of telecommunications and collaboration
technologies and solutions. This includes collaboration, telephony,
voice mail, video, video recording, audio recording, audio
conferencing, contact center and customer contact management
technologies and systems and healthcare specific communication
technologies. The Unified Communication Engineer is responsible for
identifying ways Unified Communications technologies and solutions
can be leveraged to improve customer experiences and assist with
the delivery of patient care.

- Provides design, installation, configuration, and maintenance
of technologies, software and solutions following established
procedures and change control standards. Performs post-installation
- Assists with infrastructure system maintenance, upgrades and
migrations and performs post installation verification as
- Diagnoses and provides resolution of technical and operational
problems for assigned technologies. Verifies service by testing
circuits, equipment, and alarms; identifying, correcting, or
advancing problems as necessary, to ensure timely and accurate
resolution and visibility.
- Assists in monitoring and managing the health of solutions and
services by applying available tools.
- Serves on a team on-call rotation schedule to address emergency
- Maintains system documentation and departmental documentation
- Maintains up-to-date awareness of industry developments and
standard processes in area of specialization. Assists with research
and development of new products or services
- Associate degree with focus in VoIP/Contact Center Engineering
or equivalent combination of education/work experience
- Three or more years of relevant technical experience
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and in writing skills that show a sensitivity
to the audience and content of discussion.
- Proven skills with tools used to integrate infrastructure
technologies with applications
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Unified Communications
technologies such as VoIP, contact center, video, conferencing,
voice mail and analog services.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Knowledge of Cisco IP Telephony on enterprise SME
- Some knowledge of Finesse call center
- Knowledge of site builds
- Ability to handle a complete site deployment
We would also value experience with any of the following: -
Advanced ICM scripting experience with Cisco UCCE Enterprise, Cisco
IP IVR, Cisco CVP, Cisco Outbound Dialers, ASR/TTS, VXML IVR
development with custom CVP Java applications, work with Cisco
Finesse or integration with a CRM such as Sales Force, CUIC
reporting with custom SQL report definitions, Calabrio QM/WFO or
similar recording experience, -
