Your role as a Design Engineer

• Show incremental quality improvement in new product designs as compared to existing like product.
• Work with cross functional team to develop next generation components to improve product quality and customer experience.
• Work with cross functional team to develop manufacturing processes and leverage new technologies for best cost.
• Work with the p roject team to meet required dates per the NPD project timeline.
• Leverage new technologies / software to reduce development cycle time and ensure robust designs.
  
  The requirements of a Design Engineer
  
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4+ years of experience in the Design Engineering role
  • Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Work effectively as part of a team and direct the work of Engineering Technicians
