Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years
Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required.

considered. This opportunity is for an experienced educator
specializing in teaching students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing,
based in Burnsville, MN. The position involves working within a
school environment dedicated to providing tailored educational
support and fostering the development of communication skills for
students with hearing impairments. Candidates must be willing to
relocate and travel as part of their role. Key Qualifications:
Certified Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing or relevant
specialized training Strong understanding of educational strategies
for students with hearing loss Experience collaborating with
multidisciplinary teams including speech therapists and
audiologists Ability to create individualized education plans
(IEPs) and implement adaptive teaching methods Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students,
families, and staff Location: Burnsville, Minnesota Position
requires travel to support students across various school sites
Responsibilities: Deliver direct instruction tailored to the needs
of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students Assess and monitor student
progress, adjusting instructional approaches accordingly Provide
consultative support to classroom teachers and staff regarding
accommodations and communication strategies Facilitate family
involvement and provide resources to support learning at home
Coordinate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive support
