considered. A middle school in Hopkins, MN is seeking a dedicated
Special Education Teacher to support students with
Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD) in a Setting III environment.
This contract role runs from January 5, 2026, through June 5, 2026,
with a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 7:35 AM to 3:15
PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The position focuses on providing
essential educational services within a middle school setting. Key
Responsibilities: - Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the
academic and social-emotional needs of students with EBD -
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) - Monitor student progress
and adjust teaching strategies accordingly - Maintain accurate
records and comply with all state and district guidelines - Foster
a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage
positive student outcomes Qualifications: - Minnesota Tier 3 or
Tier 4 Teaching Certification in Special Education is required -
Experience working with middle school-aged students in a special
education setting, particularly EBD, preferred - Strong
understanding of behavior intervention strategies and
individualized teaching methods - Effective communication and
collaboration skills with students, families, and staff - Valid
Minnesota Teaching License must be provided upon application This
