Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers an opportunity to support middle school students in a specialized educational setting. Location: Minneapolis, MN Setting: Middle School Special Education, Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) Duration: Contract position from January 5, 2026, to June 5, 2026 Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:35 AM to 3:15 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week Key Responsibilities: - Deliver tailored instruction and support to middle school students with emotional and behavioral challenges - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that address student-specific goals - Utilize evidence-based strategies to manage classroom behavior and promote positive learning environments - Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with staff, families, and students - Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches to meet diverse learning needs Qualifications: - Minnesota Teaching License with Tier 3 or Tier 4 certification in Special Education required - Experience working with middle school students in Special Education settings, specifically with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team - Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive educational experiences Benefits: - Structured work schedule with consistent hours (M-F, daytime) - Gain valuable experience in a diverse and dynamic school environment - Contribute to meaningful interventions that positively impact student success Candidates are encouraged to submit a resume along with a copy of their Minnesota Teaching License for consideration.
