A middle school special education teaching opportunity is available in Andover, MN, focused on providing support for students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) in a Setting III environment. This contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 5, 2026, with a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 7:35 AM to 3:15 PM totaling 37.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with EBD in a middle school setting - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs - Collaborate with general education staff and support personnel to ensure inclusive learning - Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly - Maintain clear and consistent communication with students, parents, and staff Qualifications: - Valid Minnesota Teaching License with Tier 3 or Tier 4 certification in Special Education - Experience teaching middle school students, preferably in a special education Setting III or similar environment - Demonstrated ability to manage behavioral challenges effectively and compassionately - Strong organizational skills and capacity for teamwork within a school community Location: Andover, MN (Oak View Middle School) This position is ideal for licensed special education teachers who are committed to supporting diverse learners in a structured environment.
